The Covid-19 virus actually gives us time!

Like the two sides of any coin, the current pandemic, carrying with itself the power of destruction, is bringing also the power of re-creation. The most important thing people have now is time.

Human beings are offered time, even in the names of quarantine, social distance, work from home, etc. We do have time to experience all the socio-cultural structures built from thousand years. We have time to see people in difficulty with living conditions having more difficulties, in differentiation with sexism and/or racism having more discrimination, in oppression with power and/or dogmatism having more pathetic stories.

All wits of the world hitherto seem to agree on one crucial point that Time is the most precious thing for beings on earth. We have time to confront the global disease together. We have more time at home together. We have time to understand our human race is still not far from the paleolithic age where peaceful and harmonious life is the foundation of our race and the modern age where doubtful and commodious life is the objective of our current generations.

So the Covid-19 provides us time. It’s the time to heal what we missed in the last 4000 years. It’s the time to evolve as species. It’s time to build the globe.
